It runs worldwide, year-round. There will never be a fee to submit a name to the roster. In death, all are equal.

Since 1988, the World Health Organization has marked December 1 as World AIDS Day. On that day, AIDSWatch runs for 24 hours — midnight to midnight — and the screen shows only names, on black.
